WNBA All-Star and former No. 1 overall draft pick Sabrina Ionescu is engaged to longtime boyfriend Hroniss Grasu, who plays center for the Las Vegas Raiders.

“It’s always us here’s to forever with you,” Ionescu posted on Instagram with the announcement.

The pair of Oregon alumni are both of Romanian descent and grew up in California.

Ionescu — the NCAA leader in career triple-doubles and only collegiate player with 2,000 points, 1,000 assists and 1,000 rebounds — is coming off a stellar season in which she was named a WNBA All-Star for the first time while also earning a spot on the All-WNBA second team. Most recently, she helped recruit 2021 MVP Jonquel Jones this offseason to play alongside her on the New York Liberty.
